  • About Me: Rufus Tree is a Chicago-based indie rock band who has been seen opening for the likes of Blind Melon, Sonic Flood, the Normals and Derek Webb from Caedmon's Call. They have had guest performances on their two CD's by the Grammy Award winner Phil Keaggy, Dove Award winner Mitch McVicker, and Rockettown's Alathea. Their use of eclectic instruments such as harmonica and hammered dulcimer have helped them garner a diverse audience.

    hey...I'm starting to help a friend of mine out promoting bands in the Hampton Roads area. He has a list of about 36 artists, but will need to firm it up some more. We are both looking for venues in this area, including churches and other places that would be good to for these and other artists
